THE LITTLE KNIGHT

The little knight, with rocking steed,
Went forth to slay the dragon;
With one swipe of his trusty sword
It fell into his wagon!

Then came the cry of a damsel fair
Calling to him from the castle wall;
He laid down his cardboard sword
And answered his mom's call.

There is a time to laugh and play
And a time to sit and dream;
Then there's the time to enjoy
Real vanilla ice cream!

For vanilla has a flavor
That the little knight adored;
Some things are more important
Than a dragon and a sword!
