Dear World, ....caution.... Hey! How are you today? Me? For once, I might be ok--for now anyway. Well, this is going to be a pretty great adventure for you and me, very emotional and very tear jerking. So this is your warning! If you can’t take it, please say bye. Lots of love, Me, Suicidal Sidekick Once Again Dear World, Hey! My name is “J.” This is going to be my testimony, a.k.a. autobiography. It’s pretty gruesome. Buckle your seatbelt, and hold on. You may need some tissue, for you tender hearted souls. It all started out as far back as I can remember--at the tender age of 6 years old. It was one of my first memories, and one of the most terrifying moments of my life. . . . Well, here we go . . . . I was 6 six years old, living with my father, a druggy/alcoholic/child abuser. That night my father was throwing an all out druggy-heaven-bash: beer, liquor . . . any drug you could imagine. I was out running around the house, trying to be an innocent little kid, talking to people, and pretty much being a waiter. I was getting peoples’ beers, and saying funny stuff, like any 6 year-old would. My father decided to take a girl and himself on a beer run. When they were gone out, my father told me go to my room and play until they got back. So I said, “Okay.” I watched my father and this women drive away, and I turned around and walked to my room. I decided I would play with some Legos till they got back. So I did. About 20 minutes went by, and my door opened. It was one of my dad’s friends. He asked, "What are you doing?" I replied, "Playing with Legos." He came in, and played with me for not even five minutes. Later, two more guys walked in to my bedroom and asked if they could play. Of course, I said, Sure.” About two minutes later, three more guys walked into my room and sat on my bed, They started mixing something up with a plastic thing in a bowl. I didn’t think nothing of it, and kept playing. Then the six of them were whispering to each other. They looked at me, and started laughing hysterically. To my astonishment, they all grabbed me. They put me on my back, lying on the bed. They held me down. One of them held my arm down, with my forearm up. All of a sudden, the bowl and plastic thing came back in to the picture. I remember being scared at this point. In the bowl, was an unfriendly beast to any man of any size. The substance in this bowl was BLACK TAR HEROIN, and that plastic thing was a syringe. So he drew a little bit up, stuck the needle into my vein, and pushed in this liquid beast. I went into shock. I remember waking up at the hospital one month later. My father’s face and a whole bunch of tubes blurred into my vision from my hospital bed. Yes, my peps, I was in the hospital waking up from a month long slumber. I had now had my first overdose, of my very first drug. Don’t worry. This is not the last of my story. "J's" original draft
