Retrospect

Once, twice... fourteen times a lady,
Yet she's still single, waiting for her payday.

They all seemed special, each one as the last,
Now a distant memory cluttering her past.

Despite all this, she feels no shame,
She can still recall every face and name.

Looking down on most, not feeling their pain,
Without even realising she's becoming the same.
