Repausare


Birds chirp in morning's haze whilst I sit upon the glistening grass. Prisms beauty gleams as rays of light animate the dew. Beyond the flickering brilliance, a butterfly flutters towards a supple flower. Upon landing, the creature slowly entices the tender follicles, accepting the sweet nectar. A gentle breeze bends the stem, reluctantly the butterfly retreats. Hastily it returns to coo the succulance and splendor.

I lean against a tree and ponder, aimlessly. I smile while closing my eyes, a sigh invokes bewilderment. A soft breeze caresses my cheek, sifts through my hair. Inhailing, absorbing Gaea's breath, I transcend into solemnity. The sephyr passes and my muscles tense, yearning her subtle song.

I gasp as a flock of birds exclaim and take flight. Stirring akwardly, I clasp the pliant grass. Silken leaves tingle my palm, protrtude from between my fingers, subdue, whilst the moisture consumes. Alas, inevitability dissolves ambiguity and doubt. Tranquility resonates through my soul. The waves mingle with perception, coalesce into wonder. Susceptibility surrenders to indulgance. I slumber once more.

Relinquished, the emptiness slowly covers me. Vigor surges through my feet, sensation progresses to my abdomen, A rush of sweet epiphany enchants the cerebellum. Ripples escalate to torrents. Bliss enervates the tangle within. Spasms of blythe cascade, envelope.

My eyes open. I rise adorning morning's splendor. A smile reflects the insights of consciousness. My mind floats as my feet instictively flow. Birds chirp in morning's haze as a genle wind swoons.

Within the melody a whisper...

"Till you slumber once more."
