The cold steel,
A baby’s breath.
Audible neighbors,
Mask my presence.

A spark ignites,
Curtains a blaze.
A sound is piercing,
Swallowing baby’s cries.

A mother’s panic,
Drives it deep.
The warm steel,
Is bathed in darkness.

Broken glass,
Shatters outward.
A newborn hurries,
Pavement ensues.

Gunshot wound,
Nape explodes.
Childless father,
Revenge is had.
