How can I buy her a Rose when it pales in
comparison to her beauty

How can I compliment her on anything
when mere words would never do her justice

How can I hope to compete with other
gentleman callers when I am but a shadow
in her beauty

I can only hope, that hope which is the
fine silken thread which would gently
bind us together

I can hope that love is truly blind
so that she can see the beauty within
me that is lacking on the surface

How can I hope that a sonnet would be enough
