I'm fortunate to live in the land of the free.
Where freedom still rings for all you and me.
Our young honer us they serve in foreign wars.
Far overseas their bravery shines like a star


So honorably they go to defend our way of life.
In the hot sands of Iraq they've gone to fight.
They are ready to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Let's support all mothers daughters and wives.


They've earned the respect of everyone at home.
Let's send our love and prayers with God alone.
Fly Old Glory and pray troops give their best
We're fighting an enemy unlike any of the rest.


They seek to undermind all the freedom we know.
So our troops have served and some died a hero.
They have come home crippled in so many ways.
But, Old Glory still stands and we are free today.
