They say no
We loved and lost together
People not wanting us to be together
but we tried to survive
all those rumors and lies
But now you are gone
and all the trees are bare

You couldn't stand opinions
of other peoples minds
and so you took my heart
and left it broken and left behind

the same as before
and though I thought that door was shut
