What Once Was

He broke my heart now I have to get over him.
I loved him for so long, he never knew
All I ever wanted was to be with him
Instead he wanted was someone new

My life revolve around him but he didn’t care
Once we were friends, know we barely speak
What I though we had was rare
Instead it was just a hoax

He never wanted me, he wanted a place to hide
I was the one that was near
He was full of lies
All I wanted to do was cry

When I left he didn’t even mind
He let me walk away
I wish I had died
I would just cry

He got what he wanted
He needs me no more
I find were I am wanted
