You gave me the reason to want to live.
And the water I drink to quench my thirst.
My reasons for living is the love you give.
The love of my life you were certainly first.


The want I see when I look in your eyes.
All my desires I hold for you in my heart.
All the needs I have you lovingly comply.
Love you have given me from the start.


Confidence you've given to me as a man.
The help you offer to lessen my burdens.
Strength I've gained by taking your hand.
You're God's angel I know that for certain.


The riches you have given me I'm wealthy,
Words can't say how you helped me in life.
All your sweet wisdom keeps me healthy.
Honor you bestow me as my devoted wife.


If I talked all day of what you've given me.
I don't know if I could tell of all your care.
I'd have to talk all night around past three.
Our love is strong and it is certainly rare.


Our love's grown stronger over the years.
So our marriage is one of a kind for sure.
I don't see it changing from doubtful tears.
With God's blessings it will always endure.
