In a paradise setting, in Greece recently, the clouds were gathering and inspired this...
Here in paradise where skies are nearly always blue
There can be some storm clouds every now and then,
And today, I guess that the rains, long overdue,
The parched earth will water, will refresh again.

There are storm clouds gathering in the lowering sky,
All the blue's being obliterated by a gloomy grey,
I’ve no right to question, there’s no point in asking why
God's decided to send a storm to paradise today.

Black now, ominous clouds are piling-up overhead,
Raindrops, a torrential down-pour can’t be far behind,
And maybe, just as the earth needs their touch to be fed,
A storm helps to focus, clear out any worries from a mind.

After the tumult’s over, know a golden sun will rise again
It might not be today, but it will come sometime very soon,
Perhaps there’ll be a rainbow, sun shining through the rain,
As a tide's ebbs and flows are ruled by pull of the moon.

Hope will always win, and just as surely sunshine will follow,
Hearts will again be uplifted, refreshed by the healing storm,
Dreams will be reset, life will not be as shallow, or hollow
Our feelings will again be worthwhile, thoughtful and warm.

Those who somewhere in the dark of the storm lost their way,
Who lost heart, lost their meaning, even lost their voice;
If belief is enough then by the end of this stormy, desolate day,
There'll be light, creativity again, in which they can rejoice.
