Rain Drops

Falling, falling, falling,
For what seems like forever,
Drop by drop,
Falling,
Hitting something,
A person, the grass, something,
Anything,
Any way to get back up,
Not until the sun comes out,
By then I might not be able to find my home again,
Maybe, maybe not,
Still falling,
Falling more and more,
Now I have hit something,
I do not know what,
It was something though,
Now I am getting washed into a river, I think,
Down a road off the side into the drain,
Where I end up,
I do not know,
I just hope it is my home.
