Music of My Soul

The music reverberates through me
As my hands stroke the keys.

Oh those precious ivories that
Make my heart leap!

I clear my mind
And just let the melody flow.

The notes waltz into my eyes
And pulse in my mind.

The cling to my heart
And flow down my arms.

Then splash onto my fingertips,
Singing the melody.

As my fingers dance,
I smile.

This is where I belong,
This is a gift from God.

He gave me this passion,
He gave my this talent.

I will thank Him every day,
And please Him with my music.

Whenever I sit and play,
I will give glory,
To the One Who saved me.

For He has blessed,
And continues to bless me.
