Pain and Heartache

In the depths of remembrance ,
memories filled with pain.
but in the wake of happyness,
they make you feel insane.

the thoughts of what once was,
brings tears to the soul.
and the feelings of being alone,
tell me im not whole.

my love found another,
and i found myself.
and i say good for her,
but i have nothing left.

my life fell to the ground,
the day we said goodbye.
and talking to her now,
makes me cringe my eyes.

i hear she has another,
someone to take my place.
and ill never find the one,
who can always fill her space.

the echos of her laughter,
change to tear my dreams.
and im left full of heartbreak,
and alone for good it seems.

and in the shadows i see her smile,
she loves the way things are.
and though i wish things never changed,
and yet i still drift forever far.

a cabin in her heart where i used to live,
burned all the way down to the ground.
and now i sit out in the cold,
and my anger starts to pound.

all this emotion and all this confusion,
wells up inside me and grows.
and i know im helpless to change whats happend,
and its as if hell all around me has rose.
