I wonder how many people still recall what had happened on 26 April 1986....
Tomorrow I have a short presentation. I actually should have had it today, but we didn't have time for that. So tomorrow is the day. And if I would have had this presenation today, I would have talked about my hobbies, guitars, etc. Blah-blah-blah, nothing important. But for tomorrow's one I simply can't choose this. Tomorrow is 26 April.

I really wonder how many people still remember what happened on this day 19 years ago, in 1986? I bet, people will think for some time about this date.

26 April 1986 at 1:23:40 the World changed. Yes, I can use this word "WORLD". Lots of countries, lots of people worldwide were affected. The consequences are still not really known.

Ironically, this is what was in the official TV news some days later:

"Good evening, comrades. All of you know that there has been an incredible misfortune - the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear plant. It has painfully affected the Soviet people, and shocked the international community. For the first time, we confront the real force of nuclear energy, out of control."
M. Gorbachev, former USSR leader.

An incredible misfortune was the world's worst nuclear accident.
26 April 1986 at 1:23:40 the block N4 of the atomic power plant Chernobyl exploded.
