Once you hear the Call of the Wild, you are a carnation no more
Arms crossed she stood still
frozen in place
as emotions flickered across her face
Cool breeze danced with her hair
as she stood frozen there
Surroundings slipped away
the crumbling ruins of Rio
was all she became aware
Finally she stepped inside
wanting to run, wanting to hide
From what she did not know
but dangerously she felt it grow
as she crept up stair by stair
Oh, it must have been grand in its time
She felt the energy of its prime
it swept her away
Between the shadows & the sun
the Wild Orchid had begun
She reached the top
& became aware
that she was not alone
Her mother had taught her not to stare
but she had never seen
The Danger Zone
She had been frozen for many years
& only reached the edge in dreams
But with so many inhibitions & fears
she stopped short of Passion's Screams
No, she had never danced
with the Devil in the pale moonlight
Now the wild woman's screams & moans
echoed as she hit the wall
The Dark Devil hit the Zone
onto him the Wild One did fall
dancing to nature's call
He thrust himself into her again & again
as their Passion Screamed
beneath the waterfall
Frozen in place she stood
in this hotel of rotting wood
The isicle began to melt
as Passion's Screams were felt
Under Rio's sun
the Wild Orchid had begun.
