Hello, my name is Blake and misery is my business. :) I am a 24 year old amateur poet and short story writer from Oklahoma. I have been told that my work is, for the most part, fairly depressing, but what can I say? The world is a fairly depressing place when you really think about it. While much of my work stems from personal experience, many of my poems and stories arise from me imagining what a certain situation would be like and then writing about that situation. I am always looking to improve my craft, so please feel free to praise and/or criticize my work as you see fit; I only ask that you keep in mind that pain is a part of life.
