Man, unlike anything in the universe, grows beyond his work, walks up the stairs of his concepts and emerges ahead of his accomplishments. To live and die for an idea is his nature. (John Steinbeck. Grapes of Wrath) Fascinating thought..! The growth and re-invention of a human being fascinates me. I am amazed by the way some re-create themselves and continue to mount the steps of their self-perception and emerge way ahead of them. Those at the opposite end of the spectrum, are equally fascinating in their passion to resist growth. I learn from both, but more from the latter.
