Many years ago, seven days after our wedding day.... I was left a widow as my husband died in a car accident. I needed to create a job to work at home. I used my sewing skills as a way to drum up business. I did start off in clothing stores as a seamstress. I would pick up alterations and return them to the stores when completed but the hours were not great nor the pay. I focused on Interior design, this surely did bring in more monies than sewing as a clothing seamstress. I enjoyed this type of sewing far more. My working name became my name at writing.com that I created for myself. No longer sew as can not see too good anymore.
