I've been writing for decades and have enjoyed some success, including winning prizes for poetry and prose, having some work published, co-writing the screenplay of a movie called Mickey B that was a reimagining of Shakespeare's Macbeth and working as a proofreader/copy editor and even rewriting other writers' work in the past. I'm currently working on Earl's of Iron, the first in a planned septology of fantasy novels that I started world-building for and writing years ago, then abandoned some years back and just recently started working on again, so I'm currently in the process of rewriting. And I read a lot, mostly in the fantasy genre.
