I am a retired secondary school teacher and enjoy reading, photography, scrapbooking and writing short stories. I belong to a writing group which meets weekly and have done some short CAE writing courses. I am especially interested in the psychology of the characters I create or read about: what makes them tick! Some of my writing is based on family history, in fictional form, as well as travel pieces. I would like to be able to write a longer piece in which I could improve my efforts at plot development.
