I once dreamed of being a chef, but after two summers working as a dishwasher, I realized I had a different calling in life. I enjoy cooking for family and friends, but the "essence" of my being is literary. I enjoy walking into a library and taking a deep breath...and taking in the old books just waiting on the shelves to be discovered. I took up writing to see if I could come close to writing a story that was worth a read, entertaining, and fun to think of ways to reel my reader into a world of reality that was not real, but not too far from the realness of life.
