I consider myself a very empathetic person. Maybe too much. It gets to be heavy sometimes. I am a mom, an online teacher and a writer. I am studying counseling and teaching students who speak languages other than English. I have a lot of experience in the field of autism and special needs. It is an area close to my heart for personal reasons, too. When I am not being an educational superhero, I like to write (for pleasure as opposed to for pay), read, do crafts (not well, but I still like to do them), follow fashion, be mesmerized by jewelry and other accessories, watch tv (mostly reality tv), and I am one heck of a pinner!
