In fifth grade, an assignment to write a children's book planted a seed of passion within my heart. This seed soon rooted itself and began to flourish. And when the time came to choose a career, my mother said, "Writers don't receive benefits." But what my mother didn't realize was that the greatest benefit comes when a writer sees that his or her Tree of Passion can bear delicious fruit for all to enjoy.
