Mae Pen spent her childhood lost in the magical world of books and her own fantasy writing. Growing up obsessed with the Victorian time frame many of her first manuscripts held the feel of a Historical Romance, later merging into contemporary. As many of her friends know, she is fascinated with Vampires and the "What if" of the world and our history, so she started to play with the Paranormal Romance in her writing. Last year delving into research she came upon the lack of Steampunk Romances in the publishing industry and found her niche. Now as an emerging genre author she is excited to see how far Steampunk Romance can go.
