I have taken a long road to becoming an author. My first career was as an Army officer with assignments in Europe, Latin America and the US. Retiring from that, I was a university lecturer in security studies and international relations. In both careers, I wrote historical case studies, which led me a few years ago to try my hand at writing fiction. I was successful in publishing short stories in several genres before settling on historical fiction as my preferred genre. I have several current projects, including a gothic novella and a novel about female munitions workers. When not writing, he enjoys biking and hiking in Colorado.
