Like most humans, I was introduced to writing when I was given one of those fat safety-pencils that presumably hurt less if you stabbed yourself in the eye with it. Once I learned how to make meaning out of squiggles I realized stories came out of that thing. I have been writing ever since. I'm a recent honors graduate of Portland State University in Arts & Letters and Film, and have several film and book projects in varying states of progress, most of them speculative fiction.
