I joined this site 16 years ago. It was a gold mine to me then. I had never come across so many writers. I read so much and learned too. Then, I graduated high school. I joined the Marine Corps and stopped writing for several years. Three years ago, I began to write professionally and poor losers began to pay me for it. Through it all, I have never forgotten this site; but, I was certain that my old profile would have been deleted. It wasn't! Suddenly, I have all the joy of the 14-year-old who stumbled across the site when it was known as Stories.com. I'm so happy to be here, and to be back!
