So, here I am. A teacher who is ready to retire and start the next chapter in life. Iowa Writing Project gave me the gift of writing for myself. Ten-odd years later and I've finally set aside journaling as my main form of writing and started branching out creatively. I've written a few things, but my most accomplished was/is a novel that is in the revision stage. I plan to stop being nervous about my craft (I hope it is a craft!) and just get it out there! In my future I hope to be writing query letters far and wide!
