I am a 4th grade language arts teacher in Duval County Florida. I am in the process of writing a memoir about my childhood. I have been working on it for about a year now. I keep putting it down and trying new things. I need to come back to it though. I am also writing a children's chapter book about a girl in my class from Bosnia. I have kept some of her letters and journal entries she has written both to me, and to kids in the class to get a feel for her character.
