I’ve never shared anything I’ve written before, so please be brutally honest. I'm here to learn as I am gonna be sharing a piece as part of a therapy project and would like to offer more than "I'm 14 and deep" when it comes to emotional writing. I know I’m no prose master, but I need help figuring out where the line is between controlled emotion and Tumblr-core melodrama. Just say it like it is, call it out when I sound cliché, cringeworthy, on-the-nose, purple prose, Tommy Wiseau-esque… Even if it's the whole thing: no coddling. It'll help!
