I am a poet, short story writer, and memoir writer. In the past I have been a creative writing teacher, and still run a small informal poetry workshop. I have had some poems and stories published. With friends I have self-published three poetry collections, "The Loom of Time," "Soft Windows" and "Maz & Cas Does Poems". I read and write many different kinds of poetry; I like the challenge of strict forms but also write a lot of free verse. I act as organiser for a monthly poetry reading in Launceston, Tasmania, and have been a Guest Poet a couple of times at the Tasmanian Poetry Festival. I am wanting to improve my poetry writing.
