The sun melted into the sky,
Just as I watched the day die.
Through my eyes, my mind saw,
The clockwork precision of life, by law,
Seasons passed, life and leaves withered,
Not a leaf did let it's fate be bothered,
Where it willed, it followed.
My mind though, pesters it's leader,
It itches to be a lawless treader.
Far amongst the unknown, yonder,
It wills it's fate to ponder.
It must set me free to wander.
