Greetings. My name is Samuel, I am 18 years old and leaving to university this fall where I will study cognitive-behavioral psychology and ethical philosophy, and hope to be a clinical therapist for youth who self harm one day. I recently ended roughly six years of cutting, and have gained the ability to feel simple emotions for the first time in my life. It is beyond my eloquence to describe what it is like to wake up for the first time in your life, happy to be alive. I doubt I will ever have the necessary words.
