I am very new at writing but feel I have a lot to put into words. Raised in the South, I have lived overseas and in the Northeast. I love history, especially family history and American history. My free time is taken with genealogy research, photography and sewing. My best friend, companion, and husband, Jon, left this earth in January 2021. I am working through my emotions and life transition. Barney, Yonah, and Stripes are my furry friends. Barney is a shepherd mix. Yonah and Stripes are cats. We all live in the woods in Middle Tennessee where we enjoy four seasons a year. Spring is my favorite with the wildflowers and birds.
