I've been writing since high school and I've been front-row witness to the ways my writing has evolved. What started out as a love poem, written to the very attractive bad boy in my Italian class, has evolved into an art that is an extension of myself, beyond being simply a means of escape and more a means of expression, a different breath of life. Writing is is the tip of the iceberg, a warning of the depth below, seeking divers to delve deeper. But I've also become a storyteller, a seer of reality enmeshed in the imagination, a record-keeper of the oral traditions of my mind.
