A Song as a Poem about the first Christmas! |
CHRISTMAS! It’s been so long in coming, But it’s almost time. I’m the one who’s waited longest, Now I can’t help but cry. ‘Cause it’s all still a mystery, Why someone like you would choose me... Oh, I can’t wait for Christmas, this year. No, I can’t wait for Christmas, this year! Just a little longer now, And you’ll be here with me. They’ll all want to see you, And I know that’s got to be. But deep inside, I know you’re mine. And I’ve been waiting all this time... Oh, I can’t wait for Christmas, this year. No, I can’t wait for Christmas, this year! All the waiting’s finally over, And you’re here in my arms. I love you more than words can say, Words could never say enough. But, do I call you darling, Or, should I call you LORD, Or, simply - Baby JESUS, Savior of this world... I’m sorry for the manger, It’s the best that I can do. My little one, Now that you’ve come, Christmas, Oh, the time that they’ll Call Christmas – is too. (Spoken soft and slowly) "Oh Mary, HE’s wonderful." "Yes Joseph, HE’s perfect, just perfect. A blessing for us all! Please, tell the others they can come in now." Youtube link to video: https://youtu.be/RT9-S8qR64Y |
