The Poet Spotlight

PREREQUISITES AND RULES:

         Two Poets will be selected every month. A Newbie Poet1 and an Experienced Poet2.

          For Newbie Poet Nomination:
                    A newbie nominee (in this event) must be a member of Writing.com for two months but not more than 1 year.
                    Must have at least 5 Poetry items in his/her portfolio.
                    Must be active and have submitted at least 5 public reviews 3 in the last two months.
                    Must have created a recent Newsfeed post.
                             Awards for Newbie Poet on Spolight: ▼

          For Experienced Poet Nomination:
                    A nominee must be a member of Writing.com for more than 1 year.
                    Must have at least 15 Poetry items in his/her portfolio and 5 of which are created in the last two months.
                    Must be active and have submitted at least 10 public reviews in the last two months.
                    Must have created a recent Newsfeed post.

NOMINATE A POET

          1. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to nominate a poet who qualifies the above prerequisites.
          2. Nominate as many poets as you like provided that nominees qualify to the above rules.
          3. Self nomination is not allowed and discouraged. Why would you do that?
          4. Fill out the survey form below to submit your nomination.


SELECTION PROCESS

          1. A poll will be created to allow public voting on every 20th of the selection month.
          2. A nominee with most votes will be the winner.
