The feeling of love, but of nervousness of being told they don't feel the same
Upon thine eyes, I gazed upon
A bright blue sea of colored glass
The beauty that you behold
Is nothing compared to the way you laugh
Your smile draws me in
And my brain no longer thinks
Oh my heart beats faster when I see you

Alas, will I ever know?
If your heart does the same
Do you feel the pounding drums?
In your heart like in mine
When I see your sparkling aura
Within my whereabouts
I am too nervous unfortunately
To ask you of your likeness of me

So I guess I will live with this uncertainty
This pain of never knowing
For the heartbreak, I feel as of now
It is no worse than I would feel
If I were to ask and be told
The most dreadful, horrific words
Of No
