The Colors Of God

Scarlet is the color of love, fragrant roses and very good cheer,

One could be filled with a fondness for someone, so they might shout for all to hear.

Orange is the color of laughter, where you may leap with a lightness of heart,

And if the Lord is truly in you, that feeling shall never part.

Amber is the color of joy, something that happens only with God,

So if you have that wonderful gift, you can truthfully and honestly nod.

Emerald is the elegant color of a happy and Godly life,

As the trees sway their silver-lined leaves, they thrive without any strife,

Azure is the color of freedom, like the birds flying free in the sky,

They look down from their clouded abodes, and see the world passing by.

Indigo is the color of honesty, of good and true intent,

And if you are ever dishonest, it's never too late to repent.

Violet is the color of royalty, like our sovereign and adoring king,

How he came to earth and died for us, oh how it makes me want to sing!

These are the incredible colors of God, how astounding it all is,

it's beautiful to know that every one is His.
