A contradiction in terms

Glacial slow and grinding, time advances
Physically I change inexorably as if beneath an ice floe
My body changes, bones grating, muscles failing, memory fading
but I feel youthful, child-like almost
Emotionally I am uncertain, confused
Spiritually I am disconnected, floating
It is a dichotomy, a contradiction
