My Prayer I begin by kneeling in devotion, knowing this is the place where Spirit draws near and listens … my hands clasp as I say my prayer: have mercy, oh Sacred One and show me the way as I continue struggling to understand our chaotic world and its needless suffering. grant me the fortitude to be empathetic, magnanimous, enlightened, and resilient, so that I may show kindness to all those who cross my path. today, tomorrow, and onward … for all the days to come … empower me to serve those enmeshed in pain and other negative thoughts and beliefs. gracious Spirit, I humbly ask, endow me with benevolence until the end of my days here on Earth.
