Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian.

From my Mother’s family
Inheriting my Irish personality

she was from the lost tribe of Cherokee nation

Being part of the lost tribe of the Cherokee Nation
who ran away from the genocidal trail of tears
ending up in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas
intermixing with other civilized tribe members,
the Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, and Seminoles
English, Irish, Scot Irish and French settlers
and escaped black slaves from Nigeria
sometimes called the Black Irish.
Further entangled
in my family’s tangled bloodlines.
