It's about my reflection of thoughts, or opinion on life, and how I describe it to myself.
Life is like a train. Along the journey, many passengers get on, and many get off, each leaving behind a mark, a memory, or a lesson. With every stop, you encounter different personalities and experiences. Yet, the duration of the journey remains unknown, as does the number of people you will meet along the way.

There is an undeniable thrill in meeting new people—the joy of shared laughter, the excitement of new connections, and the stories exchanged in fleeting moments. But, as the old saying goes, “every rose has its thorn,” and so does this journey. Not every encounter leaves you with warmth and fond memories. Some are better forgotten—chapter breaks that don’t deserve to be reread.

Yet, life’s journey is never static. It is dynamic, unpredictable, and often surprising. People you thought you had left behind may reappear at unexpected times, bringing both nostalgia and complexity. Sometimes, you’ll long for someone who once made your journey brighter, but life’s currents may sweep them far away. At other times, you might find yourself crossing paths with those who left you with bitterness, like uninvited passengers on the same train.

What stings the most, however, is the fading of bonds with people who once brought you immense joy. You cherished their presence, yet time and distance weakened the connection. When they reappear, the reunion feels both comforting and disheartening.

The spark you once shared seems dulled; the conversations, once effortless, now carry a faint mist of awkwardness. They might seem more engrossed in others, leaving you to wonder if the bond is slipping through your fingers.

This is the paradox of being together but feeling alone. You miss them enough to care, yet you are distant enough to let go. It’s a fragile balance—a complex emotion that many of us struggle to navigate.

Life is full of such moments. It’s never easy. But don’t let overthinking consume you. Relationships need time to heal and grow. If they are meant to mend, they will—through mutual effort. However, one-sided efforts are futile. Trying to hold on too tightly to someone who doesn’t reciprocate will only drain you.

Sometimes, you have to accept that not everyone is meant to stay. It’s painful to let go, but it’s also necessary. Your time, energy, and self-respect are too valuable to be traded for a relationship that no longer serves you.

Life is a journey of constant change. Embrace it. Move forward with an open heart and mind, for as the great philosopher once said, “Change is the law of the world.” By accepting change, you allow yourself to grow, to cherish the memories of those who come and go, and to look forward to the new faces waiting at the next station.

Writer’s note:

“Life is never constant, it is dynamic, this is what, makes it much more interesting. But failing to accept the change isn’t going to bring back what has changed. Accept and move on, cause that’s LIFE”
