'Labor of Love.'
The Great Mathematician set himself the formidable task of finding the answer to life, the universe and everything. It was an all astounding equation that he began scribbling out on his blackboard, and he worked day and night writing out all manner of formulas to work out the answer. The scrap papers on his desk heaped up into a huge pile and he sweated day and night trying to solve the greatest problem of all; what was life all about? After he had been at it for almost a month, he was still at his wits end with no answer to the great dilemma in sight. He stood and looked in astonishment at his chalk board that was scribbled all over with magic figures and sums, when he realized that there was no answer to the existence of life and love in the end. He had to give up and started wiping out all his hard work with a chalk eraser just as his lovely secretary walked in on his office herself. ‘What on earth have you been up to all this time Bob?’ she asked him in astonishment. ‘I have been looking for the great answer to all things,’ he replied ‘But have just discovered that no such formula exists on earth or anywhere else for that matter.’ he added with the utmost disappointment. She just laughed at the mad old professor, and right away the ice was broken between the two of them. It was love at first sight for them both it seemed. They had fallen deeply in love over the biggest joke of all in his life’s work. A few months later they decided to tie the knot and get married in the spring. On his wedding day he understood it all for the first time. The only great answer out there was the true love of your heart. In his old age he would remember it well one day and teach all his aspiring students the same. He was the most happy of men at last. Older but wiser. The language of the heart was the only formula to love and happiness after all. Love did indeed conquer all in the end.
