I have a love hate thing
Going on with my computer.
I swear that my computer
At times hates me.

It is always acting up,
It can’t find files.
It can’t print.

And it loves to mock me.
Once in a while
It just stops working.

Displaying the dreaded
Blue screen of death.

Or the haiku notice
“General Failure
Reading Disk Drive”

I always wondered
Who was this General Failure
And why was he reading
My disk drive?

Once I spilled coffee
On my computer

It responded by displaying
The ominous message
666 666 666 666 666 666


Marching across the screen
Before
Committing suicide.

We had to buy a new computer
To replace the now-dead computer
Repairing it was not an option.

Who told me,

The coffee had fried
The computer’s brain.
