the light you appreciate most is what you see after a seemingly endless darkness
I wonder how often you actually "see" the colours of this life.
do you look at sky and enjoy its blue? or maybe admire the moon and stars at night?
do you enjoy peace with trees and grass when they're green at spring?
or do you preferer a summer with golden sands and clear water for swimming?
there are just so many colours in life, out there to behold
but sometimes we are blind to them, and that is the story here to be told

you've been there before I assume? when your eyes are open, but you see what doesn't exist
from the rent's notice to departure messages and other thoughts that your mind just can't resist
it would have been fine if they were the kind that give some sort of strength
but when they are the kind that drains your sanity: then your life may risk its length

you've felt that before, right? when your surroundings seem colourless
and the people around you, though talking, seem voiceless
as if you were in a fog with nothing but illusions
but that's how hard reality can get: filling your life with all kinds of intrusions

you walk and walk in this fog, bouncing from one concern to another
sometimes wishing you just lose your mind, so that you no longer will have to bother
yet what gets you out of this? hope? faith? thinking? I'll that for you to answer
all I know is that this blurry reality WILL eventually crumble
and you'll find your way out of it, for a wise man once said:" there is light at the end of the tunnel"
