Poem pet prompt 4/10/2025

Funny today's prompt is about pets because I miss mine dearly.

If she was here I would take a pic so you could see her clearly.

Just close your eyes & imagine a little black furry angel.

Minus the wings but if you look closely you can see her halo.

She's cute and funny.

Sweet like honey.

All one could want in a pet.

It still does not matter because I don't have her.

My sister is the culprit.

Out in Palm Springs with the finer things doesn't mean that you are better.

You said she could stay.

Not too far away anytime I could come and get her.

Didn't take long until things went wrong.

Stole my brick and mortar.

To my surprise, police were outside to serve a restraining order!

"What is this?" I asked? I never harassed.

Nor am I an agressor.

Couldn't believe she looked at me and told the police,

"Arrest her!"

I didn't feel fear what did I just hear?

It couldn't have been clearer.

At that exact time a car sped right by took off her rear view mirror!

Police dispersed her situation got worse yes folks thats truly karma.

It's been real long.

She still has my dog.

Not a poem, more like a drama.
