In a town called Shermer, where the houses stood neat,
Lived a boy named Ferris, with a plan oh-so-sweet.
No school for him, no sir, not today!
He’d skip and he’d scamper in a Grokster-y way.


“Oh, my tummy!” he groaned, with a wink and a grin,
“I’m too sick for classes—let the fun now begin!”
His mom and his dad, they believed every word,
But his sister, Jeanie, thought, “This is absurd!”


With his pal Cameron, who was gloomy and glum,
And Sloane, his sweetheart, so lovely, ho-hum,
Ferris hatched a scheme, a wild, zany spree,
To dance through the city, as free as could be!


First, they nabbed a Ferrari, red, shiny, and fast,
Zoomed through Chicago—oh, what a blast!
They twirled in a parade, with a float and a band,
Ferris sang “Twist and Shout” to the crowd, oh so grand!


In the Art Institute, they strolled hand in hand,
Gazed at paintings so dreamy, in a colorful land.
At the ballgame they cheered, with hot dogs galore,
While the principal, Rooney, grew sore to the core.


“That Bueller’s a trickster!” Rooney hissed with a frown,
“I’ll catch that sly Grokster and bring him right down!”
He sneaked and he snooped, through the house he did creep,
But Ferris’s tricks kept old Rooney asleep.


Back home by the evening, with the sun sinking low,
Ferris leaped to his bed—put on quite a show!
His parents returned, none the wiser, oh my,
While Jeanie just rolled her big, skeptical eye.


So here’s to young Ferris, with his Grokster-y flair,
Who dodged every rule with a devil-may-care.
In Shermer’s bright town, where adventures abide,
He proved one grand day can be quite a wild ride!
