A short poem about being transformed by colors to new beginning

Color me slowly,
lilac mist across my face—
the hush of dusk before I go.

Let soft sky blue gather
across my chest,
a quiet kind of silence
like a cloudless day
hiding me,
like a secret that lingers.

Brush my arms with peach cream,
the color of things I lost
covering the heaviness
with it's warmth,
a new life with brightness
softens the voices
that never knew me.

Streak pale lavender along the edges
where I’m starting to blur-
not vanishing,
but dissolving
into something less held,
less seen.
